Houston Astros pitchers Imai, Okert and Santa combine for no-hitter, beating Texas Rangers 9-0

Tatsuya Imai, Steven Okert and Alimber Santa combined for a no-hitter on Monday in Arlington, Texas, with the Astros defeating the Rangers 9-0. Imai walked four batters and struck out two over six innings; Okert pitched the seventh; Santa pitched two perfect innings in his major league debut.

The no-hitter was the Astros' 18th overall and fifth combined no-hitter in franchise history.

In the ninth inning, Joc Pederson lined out to second base, Alejandro Osuna grounded out to third, and Brandon Nimmo struck out looking. Nimmo challenged the called third strike, but a video review confirmed the ruling.
