GMI Cloud and Magna AI partner to build sovereign AI infrastructure across Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa, with initial projects in Malaysia, Belgium, and Romania.

GMI Cloud and Magna AI Inc. announced a strategic partnership to architect, deploy, and scale a global network of sovereign AI Factories (AIFs) built around NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72™. Magna AI is a sovereign AI company formed from a partnership between Trend Micro and Wistron Digital Technology Holding Company (WDH).

Confirmed projects are breaking ground in Malaysia, Belgium, and Romania later this year, with site evaluation, infrastructure architecture, and phased deployment planning underway. The companies are finalizing additional locations in Africa and the Middle East.

The partnership combines Trend Micro's over 37 years of cybersecurity experience, WDH's hardware manufacturing and systems integration expertise, GMI Cloud's AI-native GPU cloud infrastructure, and Magna AI's end-to-end AI transformation platform to provide secure, vertically integrated sovereign AI infrastructure.
