Alphabet to Build AI Campus in South Korea Following Meeting Between South Korean President and DeepMind CEO

Alphabet announced a partnership with South Korea to build an artificial intelligence campus, the company's first of its kind, following a meeting between South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and DeepMind Chief Executive Demis Hassabis. The project includes a memorandum of understanding between the government and Google.

The campus will focus on collaboration with local engineers and startups. South Korea has requested that Google send engineers from the United States to support the initiative.
