Innodata expands beyond big tech clients with Palantir deal and U.S. defense contracts in early 2026

That same month, Innodata was awarded a prime contract position on the U.S. Missile Defense Agency's SHIELD IDIQ program — a 10-year contract vehicle for AI-related defense work.

Innodata prepares training data for large language models (AI systems that understand and generate text) — collecting, labeling, cleaning, and annotating data so models can learn from it. The company has recently expanded from data labeling into fine-tuning, deploying, and integrating AI models, moving up the value chain.
