Sound Ventures, Ashton Kutcher's venture fund, could see its $30 million OpenAI investment grow to $2.29 billion if the company reaches a $1.5 trillion valuation at IPO

Sound Ventures, co-founded by Kutcher and Guy Oseary, is a venture capital firm specializing in early-stage venture investments. The firm launched an AI-focused fund in 2023 with $240 million in capital, investing in AI companies.

Prediction market Polymarket shows users predicting OpenAI's IPO valuation at $1 trillion or more, with 15% predicting $1 trillion to $1.25 trillion, 11% predicting $1.25 trillion to $1.5 trillion, and 22% predicting $1.5 trillion or more. Some 30% predict the IPO won't happen in 2026.
