GE Vernova (NYSE: GEV) announced on August 24, 2026, in Paris, a new medium-voltage uninterruptible power supply called the MV-UPS. The system is designed to provide continuous, stable power for AI data centers, AI factories, and other energy-intensive facilities.

Conventional low-voltage UPS protection is applied to smaller sections separately, which leaves a gap when AI workloads shift suddenly.
