CoreWeave becomes first AI cloud provider to deploy Nvidia Vera Rubin platform; CRWV stock gains over 5% in pre-market trade

CoreWeave announced Monday that it took delivery of the world's first Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 server rack from Dell Technologies. The deployment includes full system-level validation of the rack-scale architecture.

The Vera Rubin system incorporates Micron Technology's 7600 SSDs for improved energy efficiency as part of one of the industry's first rack-scale liquid-cooled NVMe storage solutions. Nvidia announced the Vera Rubin platform has entered full production ramp, with manufacturing underway at scale by Taiwan's top server makers across more than 350 factories in 30 countries.

CoreWeave shares gained more than 5% in Monday's pre-market session following the announcement. Dell shares were up about 1%.
