The service costs $9.99 per month or $99 per year as part of Google Health Premium subscription (formerly Fitbit Premium); Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers get access at no extra cost.
The health coach uses an onboarding process where users specify health goals, daily routine, exercise equipment, injuries, and lifestyle factors to create personalized guidance. Users can communicate with the coach via natural language to update details, and log workouts, meals, and health records by dictation, photo, or file upload. Insights combine data from fitness and sleep metrics, environment, nutrition, cycle tracking, and U.S. medical records.
The coach will be available first for select Fitbit and Pixel Watch users, with support for other devices coming soon. Anyone can download the Google Health app, but people without a Fitbit or Google Pixel Watch will be notified when the coach becomes ready for them.
