BetterCallClaude is a free, open-source plugin for Anthropic Claude that deploys 20 specialized AI agents across all 20 Italian regions. Each agent is trained in specific domains of Italian law (corporate law, tax law, real estate, data protection, regional legislation, litigation support, and workflow coordination), and they work autonomously and in coordination.
The system is built for Italian legal practice compliance: it processes language models locally (via Ollama), maintains zero data retention, complies with GDPR and Italy's Privacy Code (Codice Privacy), and meets professional confidentiality requirements (Art. 622 CP, Art. 9 D.Lgs. 96/2001). It includes 6 connectors to official Italian legal databases via Model Context Protocol and 30 slash commands tailored to Italian legal workflows.
According to lawyers who tested it, the system is 70% faster in legal research and includes direct integration with Italian legal case databases, allowing lawyers to recall and analyze Supreme Court (Cassazione) decisions in seconds. Lawyers report it functions as a research, analysis, and document-drafting assistant without replacing legal judgment.
Installation is available now via the Anthropic Claude Cowork Desktop marketplace (fedec65/bettercallclaude_italia) with no IT team required; it works with an existing Cowork subscription.
