HP shares jump 8.9% after announcing new AI-powered PCs with NVIDIA RTX Spark

HP announced a new line of PCs and notebooks powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark, aimed at AI developers, creators, and gamers, including OmniBook laptops and a compact desktop. Shares jumped 8.9% in the afternoon session.

AI PCs now account for 44% of HP's total shipments, up from the previous quarter. The company's Personal Systems division revenue grew 13% year-over-year to $10.2 billion in the most recent quarter.

HP projected that AI PCs could make up 60% to 70% of its shipment mix next year, signaling confidence in continued demand for its AI-powered personal computers.

HP is trading at $29.33 per share, close to its 52-week high of $29.35 from September 2025, and is up 32.6% since the beginning of the year.
