NuScale Power holds sole U.S. regulatory approval for small modular reactors, positioning it to serve AI power demand over the next decade.

NuScale Power is developing a small modular reactor (SMR)—a compact nuclear reactor—and is currently the only U.S. company with an SMR design approved by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).

The company has not yet converted this regulatory advantage into firm sales; its SMR revenue stream is essentially nil, and it could be several years before revenue starts covering commercialization costs.

Energy analysts predict SMRs will become one of the most important energy sources over the next three decades, with the nuclear space potentially worth up to $10 trillion, which could make NuScale an explosive nuclear stock over the next decade.
