Marvell terminated the order because POET made unauthorized disclosures about the purchase and shipping information, breaching confidentiality obligations. The move removes POET from Marvell's optical roadmap for AI clusters reliant on Nvidia processors.

In a prior Stocktwits interview, POET CFO Thomas Mika had confirmed the Marvell order was set to ship shortly and the company planned to grow the relationship.
