Tests can be created three ways: manual recording (no AI), AI-assisted with human review, or fully autonomous via a Play Agent that runs an 11-step pipeline including environment setup, test generation, and automated fixing of failures

Recorded or generated tests run indefinitely via Playwright execution in Embedded Browser containers or remote runners; AI costs are one-time (only during creation and fixing), with zero AI used during test runs and no per-screenshot pricing on self-hosted deployments
