Cognizant and ServiceNow are integrating their AI agent platforms so enterprises can control multiple AI agents from different vendors in a single control center, reducing the engineering work needed to coordinate them.

What happened: Cognizant announced that ServiceNow AI Agents now work with the Cognizant Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator, allowing enterprises to orchestrate AI agents across ServiceNow, third-party platforms, and custom-built systems from one unified environment. ServiceNow agents can participate in broader, cross-platform workflows that the Neuro AI system coordinates automatically.

Why it matters: Most enterprises are building or buying multiple AI agents from different vendors, but those agents have traditionally operated in isolation, each requiring separate connectors and manual coordination. This integration eliminates costly custom connectors and reduces manual intervention, so teams can set up working multi-agent pipelines quickly. IDC research cited in the announcement indicates more than 70 percent of enterprises expect to invest in a mix of prebuilt, custom, and embedded AI agents, making orchestration across platforms a practical necessity.

What to watch: The Cognizant Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator is open source and works through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard ServiceNow supports, so new ServiceNow agents are discovered and invoked automatically. All agent activity continues to respect ServiceNow's existing access controls and audit logging, supporting clients' security and compliance objectives.
