Second Brain launches a self-hosted memory layer for AI tools via Cloudflare

Second Brain is a memory layer that works with any MCP-compatible tool (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and others). It deploys in three minutes on Cloudflare's free tier and stores conversation context so users don't need to re-paste the same information in each new session.

The system offers semantic search (finding memories by meaning, not keywords), time-aware recall that ranks recent memories higher, and a web dashboard for browsing and editing. All data lives in the user's own Cloudflare account—no third party accesses memories.

It integrates with Obsidian via a verified plugin to sync vaults directly as AI context, and includes iOS shortcuts and a bookmarklet for capturing thoughts from anywhere. Duplicate detection prevents near-exact matches from being stored.
