Trump and Xi set for talks on Iran, Taiwan, AI and nuclear weapons during Trump's visit to China this week

U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping are scheduled to hold face-to-face talks Thursday and Friday during Trump's two-day visit to Beijing, their first in-person meeting in more than six months.

The leaders will discuss Iran, Taiwan, artificial intelligence, and nuclear weapons as they weigh extending a critical minerals deal, according to U.S. officials.

Trump's visit marks his first trip to China since 2017 as the two countries attempt to stabilize ties strained by trade disputes and other areas of disagreement.
