Supermicro launches 12 new server platforms optimized for Intel Xeon 6+ processors, featuring up to 576 efficiency cores per server.

Supermicro announced 12 new server systems across Hyper, SuperBlade, FlexTwin, and GrandTwin families designed for Intel Xeon 6+ processors. The systems support up to 288 efficiency cores per socket and up to 576 efficiency cores per server.

Intel Xeon 6+ processors offer double the core count, up to 17% higher instructions per clock (IPC), five times more last-level cache, and 25% faster memory support compared to previous generations. The new platforms are optimized for cloud-native, virtualization, 5G analytics, content delivery, and throughput-intensive workloads.

Supermicro designed the systems to deliver improved performance-per-watt and lower total cost of ownership (TCO) while reducing power consumption and shortening time-to-deployment in large-scale cloud and enterprise data centers.
