Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announces $150 billion annual investment in Taiwan, with new headquarters set to open by 2030.

Nvidia will spend about $150 billion annually in Taiwan, up from approximately $10–15 billion five years ago, according to CEO Jensen Huang. The company's new Taiwan headquarters at Beitou Shilin Technology Park will employ around 4,000 people and begin construction this year, opening by 2030.

The investment positions Taiwan as central to Nvidia's AI infrastructure strategy, placing the company closer to key manufacturing partners including Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd., Foxconn, Wistron, and Quanta Computer.

The announcement reflects broader tech industry investment in Taiwan: Advanced Micro Devices has also declared its intention to invest more than $10 billion across the Taiwan ecosystem for advanced packaging manufacturing.
