Nvidia launches PC chip for Dell and Lenovo laptops starting fall 2026, creating revenue opportunities across memory, foundry, and software suppliers.

Nvidia's new PC chip will land in Dell and Lenovo laptops and desktops starting fall 2026, running on Microsoft Windows and targeting thin-and-light form factors capable of running large AI models and higher-end games.

AI PCs require roughly two to four times the memory of a standard laptop. Micron Technology reported Q1 FY26 revenue of $13.64 billion, up 56.6% year over year, with the Mobile and Client Business Unit delivering $4.255 billion; management guided Q2 FY26 to $18.70 billion in revenue.

Dell Technologies booked $24.4 billion of AI orders in Q1 FY27, with revenue at $43.84 billion, up 87.5% year over year. Management raised full-year FY27 revenue guidance to $165 to $169 billion.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing holds 72.3% global share of leading-edge foundry capacity and will manufacture every PC chip Nvidia ships in fall 2026. April 2026 consolidated revenue was $13.07 billion, up 17.5% year over year, with management guiding revenue growth above 30% for full year 2026.
