Netris adds AI network automation to NVIDIA's BlueField data-center chips, April 2026

Netris, a network automation startup, updated its NAAM software to control both NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet switches and NVIDIA BlueField DPUs (specialized processors that offload networking tasks from main servers) as one unified system, as of April 23, 2026.

Instead of managing network switches and data-processing chips through separate control systems, Netris now treats them as a single fabric—meaning engineers write one set of automation rules that apply across both layers, reducing manual configuration work and cutting the chance of misconfiguration errors.

For large data-center operators and cloud providers running AI workloads on NVIDIA hardware, this means faster network setup and fewer bottlenecks when scaling AI clusters, allowing them to deploy new services weeks sooner instead of spending days on network troubleshooting.
