Vapi raises $50 million Series B at $500 million valuation after Amazon Ring chose it over 40 rivals to handle all inbound customer calls

Amazon Ring evaluated more than 40 AI voice vendors before selecting Vapi to route 100% of its inbound calls through the startup's platform, which helped Vapi secure a $50 million Series B led by Peak XV Partners at a valuation of around $500 million.

Vapi provides infrastructure and orchestration tools (the underlying systems that coordinate and control AI voice agents) for companies to build, deploy, and manage voice agents across customer support, lead qualification, appointment scheduling, and outbound sales, offering enterprises granular control over how AI agents behave in live customer interactions.

Vapi has handled more than 1 billion calls through its platform and currently processes between 1 million and 5 million calls a day; the startup has around 100 employees and plans to use the new funding to expand its engineering, infrastructure, and go-to-market teams.
