Geekplus wins 2026 RBR50 Innovation Award for Robot Arm Picking Station with zero-shot learning capability

Beijing-headquartered Geekplus (HKEX: 2590.HK) received the 2026 RBR50 Innovation Award for its Robot Arm Picking Station, marking the fifth time the company has appeared on The Robot Report's annual list of 50 most innovative robotics companies.

The system pairs Geekplus's proprietary embodied intelligence foundation model, Geek+ Brain, with zero-shot learning—a technique allowing the robotic arm to handle unfamiliar items without per-SKU training—and integrates directly into existing Geekplus AMR (autonomous mobile robot) infrastructure to create an end-to-end unmanned picking workflow.

At a Schneider Electric warehouse in Shanghai, the system doubled manual picking throughput, achieved accuracy of 99.99 percent or higher (reaching 100 percent in testing), and became production-ready within 48 hours of deployment; Geekplus plans to expand the solution across additional industries and use cases.
