Apple unveiled Siri AI on June 8, 2026, described as an entirely new version of Siri powered by the next generation of Apple Intelligence. The assistant is designed to answer questions on virtually any topic, surface information from personal messages and emails, and help users take action across apps.

Siri AI combines three core capabilities: personal context understanding (searching across a user's messages, emails, and photos), onscreen awareness (answering questions about content visible on screen), and broad world knowledge (retrieving up-to-date information from the web). It also includes a dedicated app to revisit conversations, an expanded Visual Intelligence experience, and integrated writing tools.

Developer access begins today; beta testing for users will start later in 2026. The features are built with a privacy-focused architecture designed to protect user data.
