Isomorphic Labs secures $2.1bn in Series B funding to scale AI drug design engine IsoDDE

The round was led by Thrive Capital, with participation from existing investors Alphabet and GV, as well as new investors CapitalG, MGX, Temasek, and the UK Sovereign AI Fund.

Proceeds will accelerate deployment of IsoDDE (Isomorphic Labs' AI drug design engine) and advance its pipeline of therapeutic programmes toward clinical stages, while supporting hiring in AI, clinical talent, drug design, and engineering across all sites.

IsoDDE has demonstrated repeatable performance across internal programmes by hitting key milestones and identifying viable candidates with unprecedented speed; strategic collaborations with Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, and Lilly validate the AI-driven approach.
