Gemini replaces the current Google Assistant with a more conversational AI that can send messages, provide navigation, suggest music, and handle other tasks without requiring memorized commands. Initially available in US English, with plans to expand to additional GM markets and languages.
GM also announced that customers in nearly 750,000 Super Cruise-enabled vehicles have driven one billion hands-free miles. Super Cruise allows drivers to take their hands off the steering wheel on compatible roads across the US and Canada.
