Anthropic files for IPO with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, reaching a post-money valuation of $965 billion

Anthropic submitted a draft registration statement to the SEC on Monday to initiate its public offering process, choosing to file confidentially so key operational details will not become public until later.

As of its most recent fundraise, Anthropic holds a post-money valuation of $965 billion, exceeding OpenAI's $852 billion post-money valuation.

Anthropic has a deal with SpaceX requiring it to pay $15 billion per year to use SpaceX data centers; SpaceX is scheduled for an IPO on June 12 and is targeting $80 billion in fundraising.
