OpenAI plans to roll out a revamped ChatGPT as a 'super app' with coding tools and AI agents in the coming weeks

The revamped ChatGPT will serve as a gateway to paid products such as coding product Codex, marking a strategy shift after OpenAI launched standalone products in 2025 and is now abandoning 'side quests' like video generator Sora.
