CrowdStrike expands Project QuiltWorks AI cybersecurity coalition with eight new global partners and launches Falcon OverWatch for Microsoft Defender

CrowdStrike Holdings added Armadin, Cognizant, HCLTech, Infosys, KPMG, NTT DATA, Tata Consultancy Services, and Wipro to its Project QuiltWorks AI cybersecurity coalition, and launched Falcon OverWatch for Defender to bring AI-powered threat hunting to Microsoft endpoint customers.

QuiltWorks functions as a coordination layer across global consultants for the Falcon platform, while Armadin contributes continuous AI-based pentesting; OverWatch for Defender connects CrowdStrike's threat hunting capabilities to Microsoft-centric environments without requiring replacement of existing tools.

The moves are intended to deepen Falcon platform usage across large enterprises and position CrowdStrike for competition in AI-driven security through partnerships with hyperscalers and global system integrators, though coordination of QuiltWorks, Armadin's testing, and OverWatch for Defender may increase delivery complexity.
