Fuji Film Business Innovation will release the A3 color multifunction printer "Apeos C7072 Series" on October 29, 2026, with AI that converts paper documents, electronic files and faxes into structured data usable by business systems.
Why it matters
The device ships with Apeos Cloud Extension, so scanned documents and fax data can be auto-saved to the cloud without authentication setup or complex system construction, and OCR auto-names files, letting offices start digitizing and sharing documents right after installation.
WHO IT HITSOffice administrators and IT staff at companies handling large volumes of paper documents, faxes and receipts gain a machine that digitalizes and auto-files them, since it needs no authentication setup or complex system construction to save scanned documents to the cloud.

The Apeos C7072 Series arrives as a machine built around the idea that scattered corporate information can be turned into an asset. Beyond basic copying and scanning, it pulls in paper documents, electronic files, faxes and other formats, organizes them in the cloud, and structures the content so AI and business systems can use it.
The hardware carries several functions meant to smooth the shift from paper to usable data. The "MULTI CROP" feature reads multiple receipts or business cards at once and splits them into separate files automatically, while "DROP OUT COLOR" digitizes drawings with a specified color, such as red handwritten notes, removed. OCR assigns file names automatically, and document-organizing functions let work start immediately after installation.
Environmental and maintenance design runs alongside the data features. AI learns how the machine is used to automatically optimize the timing of low-power and sleep modes, a sound-learning AI detects abnormal noises, and paper jams or image-quality problems can be checked remotely. On security, the machine offers recommended settings based on the usage environment, a Secure Office Mode that strengthens security while keeping functionality, and a Protect Mode for environments like public facilities and schools where many unspecified people use the device. The company says it aims to add integration with AI agents and various SaaS platforms through API and MCP.
