Perceptual Robotics secures funding from Loggerhead Ventures and One Planet Capital to scale autonomous wind turbine inspection platform

Perceptual Robotics, a Thessaloniki-based company, announced the funding deal on May 5, 2026, with Loggerhead Ventures leading the round and One Planet Capital providing follow-on investment.

The platform uses autonomous drones and AI to inspect wind farms, capturing high-resolution data, classifying damage, and delivering comprehensive reports within 48 hours. The system has processed thousands of wind turbine inspections and more than one million images.

According to the company, the automated approach delivers up to a 30 percent reduction in overall maintenance costs and a 50 percent cut in inspection costs, compared to traditional inspection cycles where roughly 65 percent of repairs are unplanned.
