
Flex will manufacture core robotics components for Teradyne and serve as a primary testing ground, deploying collaborative robots from Universal Robots (UR) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) from Mobile Industrial Robot (MiR) across its own production facilities globally.
The partnership combines Teradyne Robotics' robotics technologies with Flex's manufacturing capabilities and global footprint of more than 100 facilities across 30 countries to address power, heat, and scale challenges through cutting-edge power and cooling technology and scalable IT infrastructure.
The expanded real-world deployment will provide continuous operational feedback, validate robotics technologies at scale, and enable faster replication of successful automation workflows across electronics, industrial equipment, data center infrastructure, and other sectors.
