Anthropic expands Claude AI to connect with personal apps like Spotify, Uber Eats, and TurboTax—letting the AI suggest and use them in conversations

Anthropic added connectors linking Claude to 8+ consumer apps including Spotify, Uber Eats, Audible, AllTrails, Instacart, and TurboTax. Previously Claude only connected to work apps like Microsoft Office. Once linked, Claude automatically suggests these apps during conversations—for example, recommending hikes from AllTrails when you mention wanting to go hiking.

Unlike manually switching between apps, you stay in Claude and type naturally; the AI reads your connected app data and takes actions on your behalf. Similar connectors already exist in OpenAI's ChatGPT, but Anthropic's expansion signals it is catching up in offering everyday tools alongside productivity software.
