Apple's 27.2 software updates released today bring the redesigned Siri AI to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish speakers, in beta across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS.
Why it matters
The expansion brings Apple's more conversational, context-aware assistant to far more users, though it remains unavailable in the EU on iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS while Apple works with regulators.
WHO IT HITSiPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro users in French-, Japanese-, Korean-, Portuguese-, and Spanish-speaking markets can now try the rebuilt assistant, provided they have an Apple Intelligence-enabled device set to a supported language.

The 27.2 release marks the widest rollout yet of the rebuilt Siri, which Apple describes as more conversational and personal while drawing on on-device context from messages, emails, and photos. Beyond the five new languages, the assistant can take systemwide app actions, such as drafting an email or editing a set of photos, and can answer questions about what is on the user's screen.
The expansion is not universal. Siri AI remains in beta and requires an Apple Intelligence-enabled device set to a supported language, and it is unavailable in the EU on iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS as Apple works with regulators. It is also not available for users under 13.
Apple has flagged further language additions, with Chinese (traditional), Norwegian, Turkish, and Vietnamese coming by the end of the year. The company also noted that certain server-side Apple Intelligence features, including Siri AI, carry daily usage limits, with expanded access planned for a fee in the future.
