A new npm library (obsidian-agent-bridge) bridges AI agents to Obsidian vaults via the Local REST API plugin, with zero dependencies and compatibility with any LLM framework.

The core function deepenNode() reads an existing knowledge node, folds new content into the target section without duplicating, and maintains wikilinks so the graph view stays clean.

Intended for wiring into an agent's tool calls so the agent can file observations to the right node and the vault grows from experience, with dedup logic preventing noise from repeated calls.

Installation requires Obsidian, the Local REST API plugin (running on port 27124), and an API key from the plugin settings; available under MIT license.
