Search interest for 'how to start a chaos garden' rose 140% this spring and interest in 'chaos garden seeds' doubled, while searches for 'mini garden' hit an all-time high in 2026 and 'tabletop garden' just hit a 15-year high.

Google Search offers five gardening tools: AI Mode to visualize garden layouts in your space, Canvas to create month-by-month planting plans, design prompts for chaos gardens, a 'nearby' shopping filter to find local supplies, and Search Live to diagnose plant problems by camera.

Users can use Search Live by opening Lens, taking a photo of a plant issue, and asking follow-up questions like 'Should I adjust my watering schedule?' to get real-time advice.
