NVIDIA and Fortinet expand partnership to secure enterprise AI systems with real-time protection for AI workloads

On May 12, NVIDIA Corporation and Fortinet expanded their partnership. Fortinet will tap into NVIDIA's AI platforms and software to provide real-time protection for AI workloads.

The joint solution centers on Fortinet's FortiAIGate, which provides security guardrails for large language models (AI systems that understand and generate text) and AI agents (autonomous AI systems that make decisions and perform tasks). The solution uses zero-trust principles to manage traffic between applications and AI models, block threats, filter unauthorized content, and log suspicious prompts and responses.

The partnership aims to help enterprises prevent model misuse and data leakage, and to protect data and autonomous agents in real time in data centers while making it easier for organizations to monitor AI usage. FortiAI Gate-based security can be deployed across cloud, edge, on-premises, and hybrid settings.
