Sign up free →On June 5, SpaceX announced a roughly three-year cloud service agreement with Google, under which SpaceX will provide access to roughly 110,000 Nvidia GPUs and other compute infrastructure from its AI data centers. Google will pay SpaceX $920 million per month from October 2024 through June 2029, with either party able to terminate with 90 days' notice starting in 2027.
SpaceX separately disclosed an Anthropic data center compute deal valued at $1.25 billion per month through May 2029. Combined, these two agreements are projected to generate over $26 billion of revenue per year for SpaceX, compared with SpaceX's total 2025 revenue of $18.7 billion.
SpaceX's AI unit, acquired earlier this year when the company purchased xAI, currently operates data centers providing 1 gigawatt of compute capacity. The AI unit generated an operating loss of nearly $2.5 billion in the first quarter of 2026, but the new revenue deals are expected to significantly change this trajectory.
