Kiwibit Bird Feeder Pro uses AI to identify over 10,000 bird species and track backyard visits

The Kiwibit Bird Feeder Pro 4K AI Camera features a 130-degree wide-angle lens, dual seed compartments, solar panel charging, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi support, cloud storage, and built-in two-way audio with microphone and speaker.

A proprietary bird-identification algorithm in the companion Kiwibit app identifies over 10,000 bird species. The app notifies users of bird visits, records videos, and tracks visits and species observed; the Birds tab provides species descriptions from Wikipedia.

In testing, the device recorded visits from six bird species including northern cardinals, blue jays, ravens, and mourning doves, though the system occasionally miscounts visits when a single bird remains in front of the camera for several minutes.
