Anthropic's Claude Platform now available natively through AWS, giving customers access via their existing AWS account without separate credentials or contracts.

Anthropic announced general availability of Claude Platform on AWS, a service that provides direct access to Anthropic's native Claude Platform through AWS accounts with AWS IAM authentication and AWS Marketplace billing.

Claude Platform on AWS includes the Messages API, Claude Managed Agents (beta), web search and web fetch, MCP connector (beta), Agent Skills (beta), code execution, and files API (beta), with activity captured in AWS CloudTrail for auditing.

Users set up access in three steps: create a workspace, authenticate using IAM credentials or API keys, and make API calls through the Anthropic Client SDKs, with usage monitored in the Claude Console and costs tracked in AWS Cost Explorer.

Claude Platform on AWS is available in US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), Canada (Central), South America (São Paulo), Europe (Dublin), Europe (London), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Milan), Europe (Zurich), Europe (Paris), Europe (Stockholm), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Melbourne), Asia Pacific (Jakarta), and Asia Pacific (Sydney).
