Isomorphic Labs closes $2.1 billion Series B funding round to scale AI drug discovery platform toward clinical trials

Isomorphic Labs, led by Alphabet co-founder Demis Hassabis, raised $2.1 billion in a Series B round led by Thrive Capital, with participation from Alphabet, GV, MGX, Temasek, CapitalG, and the UK Sovereign AI Fund.

The company's IsoDDE platform combines multiple proprietary AI models designed to work across different therapeutic areas and drug classes. The funding will expand the platform, advance drug candidates closer to clinical trials, and support global hiring.

Isomorphic Labs was founded in London in 2021 and has existing partnerships with Novartis, Lilly, and Johnson & Johnson.
