Sign up free →Rocsys has delivered its first S2 to a large-scale port customer, marking active deployment of the hands-free charging solution. The S2 is now available to order for ports, distribution hubs and logistics facilities, with configurations supporting Build America, Buy America compliance for American organizations.
The S2 uses computer vision and motion intelligence to identify vehicle charging inlet position and orientation with sub-millimeter precision, achieving a 99.9 percent plug-in success rate. The system adapts in real time to variations in parking position and site conditions including rain, dust, shadows and low light, and supports multi-vendor interoperability across mixed fleets via Ultra-Wideband (UWB) communication.
Built on more than six years of Rocsys field experience including ROC-1 deployments in Europe and North America, the S2 delivers a smaller footprint, simpler installation, greater range of motion and enhanced durability compared with the previous generation. Two configurations are available: the standard S2 for general fleet environments and the S2-H heavy-duty version with enhanced coating, beacon lighting and reflectors for harsher industrial settings.
