Frontier Precision secured an FAA waiver for aircraft-agnostic BVLOS operations across Vantis's 5,000 square miles of managed airspace in North Dakota

Frontier Precision became Vantis's second champion operator and obtained a new FAA waiver allowing it to fly any NDAA-compliant drone under 55 pounds across the four established Vantis service volumes.

The waiver is aircraft-agnostic (not tied to a single platform), covering more than 5,000 square miles of managed airspace. Using Vantis infrastructure reduced approval timelines from years to 23 business days.

Upcoming work will onboard Group 3 VTOL aircraft up to 1,320 pounds for long-endurance missions and advance autonomous swarm operations for agriculture. A Vantis Fly Day on May 28 at Gorman Field will showcase live BVLOS demonstrations and Frontier Precision's mobile command trailer.
