Microsoft 365 Copilot gets a revamped design that loads twice as fast and delivers more structured responses

Microsoft is launching a redesigned version of Microsoft 365 Copilot with a cleaner interface that the company claims loads twice as fast. The redesign is rolling out across desktop and mobile devices.

The update introduces a feature called 'progressive disclosure' that shows Copilot tools and controls based on your prompt instead of displaying all options at once. Users can now format text directly in Copilot's upgraded prompt box, which expands to fit typed or pasted content.

Copilot will provide more reliable and structured responses that are easier to scan. Within Microsoft 365 apps, Copilot operates in a side panel where it can answer questions, suggest changes, or make edits to documents, spreadsheets, and slides.
