Infosys and CrowdStrike partner on AI-discovered vulnerabilities

The partnership between Infosys and CrowdStrike reflects a broader shift in cybersecurity: no single vendor can keep pace with the millions of vulnerabilities that frontier AI models can find in a single scan. This reality is pushing the industry toward coalition-style partnerships, where a security platform's detection power is paired with the enterprise context that only a systems integrator, embedded in a customer's business for years, can supply.

Mayank Agarwal, Infosys's vice president and head of cybersecurity Americas, has spent 21 years at the company helping enterprise clients defend their operations. He describes the change AI brings as "the three Vs": velocity, volume, and vulnerabilities. The time between a vulnerability's discovery and its exploitation has compressed from hours to minutes, sometimes seconds.

Infosys's role in Project QuiltWorks is to provide the enterprise context that CrowdStrike's technology alone cannot supply. The coalition has since grown to include a wider set of partners, and now also serves as the onboarding path for newer offerings like SafeMind. Infosys's approach, shaped by a "gap-focused" mindset, applies core security principles—zero trust and the CIA triad (confidentiality, integrity, availability)—not just to humans but to AI agents as well.
