Google Gemini now generates documents, spreadsheets, and presentations directly in chat for download

Gemini can create files in Google Docs, Microsoft Word (.docx), PDFs, Google Sheets, Excel (.xlsx), CSV, Google Slides, Markdown, LaTeX, TXT, and RTF formats directly within the chat interface based on text prompts, without requiring template uploads.

Users specify both content and desired file format through text prompts, and the generated files are made available for download.

The feature is rolling out worldwide across all platforms, enabling Gemini to handle both Google Workspace and Microsoft formats equally.
