iOS 27 introduces a new "Extensions" system allowing users to select and manage third-party AI chatbots for Siri on iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Apple currently integrates OpenAI's ChatGPT with Siri but will expand to support Google Gemini, Anthropic's Claude, and other App Store chatbots

Users can enable or disable specific chatbots they want connected to Siri, giving them control over which AI powers voice assistant responses

The feature will also work with a standalone Apple AI app the company is reportedly developing
