Stifel raises Cadence Design's price target to $432 after the chipmaking software maker announces a partnership with Intel Foundry and unveils an AI-powered autonomous engineer for chip design.

On June 9, investment firm Stifel maintained its Buy rating on Cadence Design Systems and increased its price target from $395 to $432. The upgrade follows Cadence's announcement of a multi-year Design Technology Co-Optimization partnership with Intel Foundry aimed at Intel 14A, and the June 1 launch of what Cadence describes as the first fully autonomous virtual engineer for semiconductor development, which runs in the NVIDIA OpenShell runtime environment and is based on Cadence's design automation tools using NVIDIA Nemotron models.
