NVIDIA partners with Simulations Plus to accelerate drug development using GPU acceleration and AI-assisted workflows

NVIDIA entered a collaboration with Simulations Plus to apply GPU acceleration and AI-assisted workflows to drug development and quantitative systems pharmacology (the study of how drugs move through and affect the body).

The partnership targets complex modeling and simulation tasks in early-stage drug discovery, with GPU-optimized workflows for physiologically based pharmacokinetics and quantitative systems pharmacology potentially cutting end-to-end modeling times by up to 75% in testing.

NVIDIA extends its life sciences presence through this specialist software provider, whose tools are already used in pharmaceutical R&D, while the move complements existing partnerships with IREN and Corning on AI infrastructure.
