FIDO Alliance announces inaugural Authenticate APAC 2026 conference in Singapore on June 2–3, focused on authentication standards, digital identity, and AI-driven capabilities.

The FIDO Alliance is holding Authenticate APAC 2026 on June 2–3 at the Grand Hyatt Singapore. The event is the alliance's first Asia-Pacific Authenticate conference, building on seven years of successful Authenticate events in the United States and two years of regional APAC summits.

The conference will explore how evolving standards, regulations, AI-driven capabilities, and real-world deployments are shaping the future of trusted digital interactions across APAC and beyond. Agenda topics include authentication, digital identity, passkeys (passwordless authentication methods), tokenisation (converting sensitive data into non-sensitive tokens), and payment security.

The event is supported by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore as Government Sponsor and by Google, Visa, and Yubico as Signature Sponsors. Speakers include Sam Srinivas (Principal Product Manager at Google and FIDO Board Rep) and Rodney Tan (Director, Cybersecurity Engineering Centre at the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore).
