NVIDIA announces Vera CPU for AI agents, delivering 1.8x faster task completion compared with x86 CPUs

NVIDIA Vera is now in full production. The processor is designed for agentic AI (AI systems that take autonomous actions), reinforcement learning, and data processing workloads. Customers exploring adoption include Anthropic, OpenAI, SpaceXAI, ByteDance, CoreWeave, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and NYSE.

Vera enables 1.8x faster task completion compared with x86 CPUs and brings improvements in energy efficiency for data center operations. It builds on NVIDIA Grace CPUs, which have nearly 2.5 million shipments to date.

Vera is being integrated into systems from manufacturers including Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro, and Taiwan-based system builders. NYSE will use Vera CPUs with HPE and Redpanda to optimize latency while processing more than 1.1 trillion messages per day.
